LIFE at the REuse Economy Expo

The REuse Economy Expo 2025 was held on 26–27 May, focusing on making large-scale reuse profitable in Europe, with the LIFE Programme in attendance.

The REuse Economy Expo served as a meeting point for multisectoral actors united by a common goal: making reuse an economic and environmental opportunity. The 2025 edition, themed ‘Making Reuse Profitable on a Large Scale in Europe,’ featured 300 solutions, 70 conferences and masterclasses, four collaborative workshops, and a learning expedition in Paris.

The event showcased practical solutions for reuse, repair, reconditioning, and remanufacturing across four key sectors: electrical equipment, professional equipment and furniture, packaging, and consulting and transition support. It also addressed consumer expectations, environmental regulations, and corporate social responsibility strategies, while promoting sustainable business models that reduce environmental impact.

The LIFE Programme was present at the event with a dedicated stand, showcasing several LIFE projects that support circular economy initiatives and innovative reuse solutions. Among the projects taking part were:

  • circular economy | waste recycling | green economy
