Horizon Europe: EUR 41 million available under the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities EU Mission

In line with the Horizon Europe 2025 work programme, the European Commission has launched a new call for project proposals to support research and innovation under the EU Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities.

The total indicative budget available is EUR 41 million. The deadline for submissions is 4 September 2025.

The call covers two topics:

• Coupling circularity and climate mitigation in industrial sites and their cities and regions
• Innovative, AI-based solutions for urban planning and management
